Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood is shaping up to be an absolute powerhouse this year. In case you were wondering, here are my personal most anticipated haunted houses.

Top 5 Most Anticipated HHN Hollywood Houses

1. Hellraiser Sure to be a nightmare come true. We just rewatched Hellraiser this week (the original, my preferred), and I’m ready to let Pinhead and the Cenobites tear my soul apart. (:
2. Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness A walk through the legendary career and mad house of heavy metal’s undisputed icon. Give me a house with an epic soundtrack, and I AM SOLD. While I am devastated by the loss of our beloved Prince of Darkness, I’m excited to celebrate him at one of my favorite events.
3. Sinners Set in 1930s Mississippi inside the Smokestack Twins’ juke joint, things turn deadly when bloodthirsty vampires crash opening night. I am ready to see one of the best recent horror films become one of the best recent HHN houses.
4. Killer Klowns from Outer Space Pure horror-comedy perfection returns. We had this house in 2019 and 2022. I vote it keeps coming back every 3-4 years for eternity so I can continue to relive the chaos of one of my favorite films.
5. Killceañera: Music by SLASH A Hollywood original maze paired with an original haunting score composed by guitar legend SLASH. HHN Hollywood’s original, Latin America-inspired haunts have been some of the most fabulously produced and terrifying. Can’t wait to meet Lola.

• Stranger Things 5: Battle through Hawkins, the Wheeler House, and the dark realms of the Upside Down for a final showdown against Vecna and the Demogorgons.
• Evil Dead Burn: Step into a secluded family cabin deep in the woods where the Book of the Dead has been reopened, unleashing relentless Deadites. ~~ SPOILERS~~
  If they stab the dog in this haunted house, I will riot.
• Dead, Deader, Deadest: A Hollywood original set inside the Deville Family Funeral Home, where a botched miracle drug reanimates a century’s worth of corpses.

Event Overview & Dates

Halloween Horror Nights runs for a record 42 select nights from September 3 through November 1, 2026, opening at 7:00 PM each evening.

Beyond the 8 main haunted houses, this year’s event features:

• Terror Tram: An Art the Clown takeover titled “Every Day Is Artmas,” complete with an original score of reworked holiday songs by Ice Nine Kills.
• Live Shows: The high-octane stunt show The Purge: Dangerous Waters.
• Scare Zones: Four themed zones including Fortnitemares: Freaky Fields, Hackerz, Blood Bog, and El Circo de la Muerte.
