It’s official, ghoulsâthe Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood lineup is complete. Universal Studios Hollywood just announced a fresh wave of terror, including a revisit to the “Poltergeist” haunted house (we loved it in 2018), the fan-favorite “Terror Tram” dedicated to the villains of Blumhouse, and the return of the fiery “The Purge: Dangerous Waters” stunt show. Get your courage ready because the full event, complete with four sinister scare zones, kicks off on September 4th.
Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood adds even more torturous debauchery to the line-up with iconic horror film âPoltergeist,â fan favorite âTerror Tram: Enter the Blumhouseâ and âThe Purge: Dangerous Watersâ fire-fueled stunt show, along with four sinister scare zones rounding out the 2025 popular event. The premier haunt event starts on Thursday, September 4 and continues select nights through Sunday, November 2.
Amazon MGM Studiosâ supernatural cult horror classic Poltergeist will bring guests âinto the lightâ only at Universal Studios Hollywoodâs Halloween Horror Nights event. Considered one of the âscariest films of all timeâ when it debuted in 1982, the haunted house will transport guests into nightmarish scenes with terrifying characters from the movie, including the iconic Freeling family home.
Located on the historic Universal backlot, âTerror Tram: Enter the Blumhouseâ will enable visitors to disembark the Studio Tour tram and set off on foot to encounter some of the most iconic villains from Blumhouseâs popular horror franchises over the past 15 years, including The Grabber from The Black Phone, the possessed from Exorcist: The Believer, the diabolical M3GAN, the ruthless killers from The Purge franchise, the terrifying demons from the Insidious chapters, Blissfield Butcher from Freaky and Babyface Killer from Happy Death Day, among others. Guests who elect to upgrade their Halloween Horror Nights experience by purchasing the R.I.P. Tour will have an exclusive opportunity to meet and scream with select characters featured on Terror Tram. General Admission guests will encounter a special photo op upon disembarking the tram.
âThe Purge: Dangerous Watersâ stunt showreturns to the WaterWorld venue, taking guests on a fiery, rocket-fueled adventure while they fight to survive the night.

Completing this yearâs line-up, horror fans will encounter four petrifying scare zones throughout the event. As they begin their terrifying evening at Halloween Horror Nights, guests will need to dodge a troop of chainsaw killers in âChainsaw Clownzâ and escape a maniacal fun house in âCarnival of Carnage.â After surviving this yearâs haunted house, âMonstruous 3: The Ghosts of Latin America,â guests will stumble upon a dimly lit street to brave the âNoche de Brujasâ scare zone. The ever-popular âMurder of Crowzâ flocks back to Halloween Horror Nights and will do anything to defend their nest.
These exciting experiences join previously announced haunted houses, including Prime Videoâs critically acclaimed series âFallout,â Blumhouseâs hit movie âFive Nights at Freddyâs,â cult classic horror film franchise âTerrifier,â WWEâs supernatural pro wrestling group âWWE Presents: The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks,â the infamous killer Jason Voorhees in âJason Universe,â the original haunted house âScarecrow: Music by Slash,â featuring a soundtrack by GrammyÂŽ Award-winning guitarist and songwriter SLASH, and âMonstruos 3: The Ghosts of Latin America,â the third installment in the Monstruos trilogy.
